Mahedärä Maryam
Although Mahedärä Maryam lies not far away from Däbrä Tabor the monastery is not accessible by car. Starting from the road one has to walk for at least two hours until one reaches the monastery. It lies in a spacious yard which is encirclrd by a wall. Several graves are in this yard.
